Fell in love with these two yesterday!

The one being ridden is a 3 year old filly but look at that mane! And it won’t get trimmed because she’s going to go into harness racing so it won’t be in the way. She was so amazing, I would love to have her if she was too slow for racing.

The gelding being led is a registered harness racer and he was such a poser! And so amazingly solid!

One of the things I miss is being in Ohio during Jug Week!

Congrats to winner “Limelight Beach" and runner up "Lets Drink On It" for their fantastic finish in the Little Brown Jug!

[ For those that don’t know, this race is the second leg of the Triple Crown for Pacers. Before the horses race in the final, the Little Brown Jug, there are two elimination heats. For instance, this year the 14th and the 15th race were the races that qualified the horses for the big prize of $647,500. (The winner took $315,980 from this record purse.) The top 4 finishers in both heats are then brought back for the 18th race, which is the final. You can find a PDF of that race’s lineup HERE.]
